Janahitha Seva Trust has a program called Youth Skilled Development where we train and provide employment to many young boys and girls.
These free trainings cover not only making the youth computer literate via SETWIN based Computer Basics and MS-Office certification courses but we also impart Digital Film Making and Editing via ICDM. Our CSR sponsor Corteva Agriscience has been continuously supporting these initiatives.
ICDM conducts 45 day courses for aspiring youth in the Film and Media industry wherein they are trained in the principles, techniques and art of using the camera, editing software, mixing multimedia for commercial films.
Youth from various parts of the state come down to Shamshabad where the center has been running since more than a decade. They take residence in hostels and spend a couple of hours of theory by Master trainer – Dr Kiran Kumar and then spend the entire day practicing using the equipment available in the center.
Dr Kiran Kumar has effortlessly trained over 45 batches under this program and is the only trainer who can teach in Telegu. He has a vast experience with Annapurna Studios, Rama Naidu Studios and many other TV channels.
Janahitha Seva Trust member Shri Ganesh Yanamandra was requested to attend the graduation ceremony of the latest batch of 25 students on 8th April 2024.
He spent some time with the students talking about the future prospects in this Digital World and also provided the students some thoughts around entrepreneurship, collaboration and setting up their digital presence in social media.
The event was well received by everyone and students were very thankful for all the help the trainers, instructors and Janahitha Seva Trust for helping them pave their career in the world of Digital Film Making and Editing.
