CPR Camp
Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is an emergency procedure consisting of chest compressions often combined with artificial ventilation in an effort to manually preserve intact brain function until further measures are taken to restore spontaneous blood circulation and breathing in a person who is in cardiac arrest.
Last CPR camp was conducted in GSPANN which is an IT company based in Hyderabad. 250 employees participated in the event and 30 employees including 5 staff performed the CPR practically on manequinns.
Janahitha Seva Trust engages renowned CPR expert Dr.Maheshwar Reddy (Gandhi Hospital Alumni) in collaboration with American Heart Association for regularly conducting CPR training camps with mannequins and reference material to education institutions, companies and government institutes. Audience is given a chance to practise and test their newly learnt skills on the mannequins as well as interact with the expert on any questions they might have.
