Introduction:
At Janahitha Seva Trust, we believe that every individual deserves access to basic necessities and healthcare. From June 9th to June 15th, 2024, we were blessed to have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of those in need. From providing life-saving oxygen concentrators to organizing medical camps, we’re grateful for the chance to spread kindness and compassion wherever we can.
Oxygen Concentrator Donation:
Just last week, we donated an oxygen concentrator to someone in dire need. This lifesaving device will provide them with the oxygen they require to breathe easy.
Oxygen Bank:
We received a generous donation of 7 oxygen concentrators from a doctor from the USA, along with his brother, for our Oxygen Bank. These concentrators will be distributed to those who need them most, bringing hope and relief to families affected by respiratory issues.
Gandhi Hospital Shelter Home:
Last week, we served the attendants at Gandhi Hospital Shelter Home, providing breakfast, tea, lunch, and dinner for 152 people on average, with a maximum capacity of 168 people. Our team ensured that every individual received the care and support they needed.
Sudhama Project:
Under our “Sudhama” project, we provided clothes to those in need at the shelter home. It’s heartwarming to see the joy and dignity that these simple acts of kindness bring to our beneficiaries.
Rakthadaan:
Six individuals from our community came forward to donate blood through our Rakthadaan initiative. Their selfless act will go a long way in saving lives and bringing hope to those in need of transfusions.
Free Medical Camp:
In collaboration with Abhaya hospital, we organized a free medical camp in Ghatkesar mandal, benefiting around 100 people. Our team of healthcare professionals worked tirelessly to provide medical check-ups, consultations, and treatment to those who needed it most.
